Presenter is a child theme for the Hybrid theme framework, which means you must have Hybrid installed to use Presenter. I built Presenter from another child theme by Justin Tadlock (the wizard behind Theme Hybrid) called Hybrid News. Be sure to check that out as well.
Front Page Template
The theme comes packaged with an extra page template for you to use called Front Page.
To activate the frontpage you need to do the following:
- Write a page and select the front page template for it
- Set this page as a static page in Settings > Reading
- Go to Appearance > Presenter Settings and adjust which categories should be shown where
- Make sure that the post that are in the big featured box has a picture that’s 956px × 280px and add a link to the picture in the custom fields that’s called Full.
Hybrid has a built-in image script that will automatically include images for you as thumbnails (if you’ve attached an image).
For more information on customization, please consult the readme file in the theme zipfile.
Theme Support & SEO
I don’t really support the theme, due to limited skills and time, but do consider joining Justin Tadlocks forum at Theme Hybrid, it’s worth every penny. Big credits goes from here to Justin Tadlock, and some of the other fellows in the forums at Theme Hybrid.
The theme is SEO-optimized out to the teeth from the use of the Hybrid theme framework. So no worries there :-)

Can’t download.
Hmm sounds weird, can you elaborate on it, because I have no problems with the download.
Downloads just fine here…
Great base for a theme, well done.
Thanks David. And great to hear that the download works. I’ve had 344 downloads to this date (that’s about 340 more than I had expected :-))

is there a PSD for this theme? So its easy to customize?
Hi Mike
There aren’t that many graphical elements in the theme. But since I based it on Hybrid News, you could probably find most of the elements in the Hybrid News PSD pack (you might need to be logged in to access the file, I’m not sure about that).
